It’s been two years since the not-so-little one was born. Two years flew by and I couldn’t be any happier if it wasn’t for her arrival. Perhaps, Esther, you were born for such a time as this.

Two years and I think I have to find time to put this into writing. I want to address the questions, confusions, and the thoughts left unspoken. To those who knew, thank you for admiring from afar and for just even witnessing “it.” To some I have personally shared about “it,” I am thankful for you for holding it dearly. To many who chose to keep their questions remained unanswered, there are many of you, even my family members, I hope you know I am very much grateful you chose that way.  You must have just turned into prayer and not let those thoughts corrupt you. Nevertheless, I admired you. And to quite a few of you who chose to reach out and be heard, thank you because I have learned to widen my understanding on your behalf. I cannot say I have mastered it but because of you, I have learned to be more hopeful and positive that you don’t have any ill intentions on your inquiry.

Once and for all, I am addressing your question. Esther was not adopted. Esther is my biological child and is a sister to Stella. There. Whew! I gave birth to a 9.1 lb baby. Yes, you read that right. Truth be told, it was a difficult pregnancy. The grace of God and support of the people around me carried me through it.

It’s amazing to think how God allowed me to be the mother of these two girls. I feel very blessed. Most, if not all parents, want what’s best for our kiddos and for them to be happy. But do you know that they really want the same for us too? Yes, my girls love to see me happy. They like to see me smiling and laughing. Little as they are right now, they have grasped how it is to be selfless.

I have then understood very well how my decisions affect them. As much as I want them to enjoy the life they have, I also constantly check myself if I feel delighted as well. It has been very important for me which I think led me to write this. I feel elated to share with you that I have two girls and they’re mine. 🙂

Lastly, to the women out there, know that God, the Good Lord will always hold you together. No matter what. He is mighty, merciful, and kind. He is our Father in heaven. And most of all, you are lovely, just the way God thought how beautiful Eve was. May He wrap you with His strong and loving arms around you.

God bless you.

P.S. A happy birthday, Esther Maris! Happy second birthday! You are very much loved!

Esther 4: 14 “…who knows that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
